Alakaʻi Services Group Inc. / Poʻe Hana Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated System Administrator / Training and Support Specialist to enhance user experience with the FACET system in the San Diego region. This role is essential for ensuring that end users effectively integrate the FACET system into their workflows and that all documentation is securely archived.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute technical operations, including script development for software installations, updating installation protocols, and performing networking tasks.
  • Conduct onsite maintenance and support for the FACET system.
  • Deliver comprehensive training on FACET and FIAR to diverse groups.
  • Provide assistance through various channels including in-person, email, and phone.
  • Maintain the support database consistently.
  • Ensure proper documentation is collected during onsite engagements.
  • Demonstrate self-management and initiative in completing tasks.
  • Conduct ad hoc demonstrations of the FACET system.
  • Possess familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Be available during weekdays for client support inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT networking, with a preference for training and customer service experience.

Certifications

  • Preferred certifications include Server+, Network+, MCITP, MCSA, or CCNA.

Essential Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in Windows operating systems, server management, and networking.
  • Valid driver's license and U.S. Passport required.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
  • Strong background in customer service and training.
  • Able to deliver presentations to executive-level audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Quick learner with strong leadership qualities.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on achieving project goals.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Navy S1, S2, S6, or S8 (CS / LS) roles, particularly in Logistics.
  • Familiarity with ATO and RMF processes is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
