Job Title: Security Systems Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Security Systems Installation Specialist to join our team at BLUENOSEiT - Security Systems Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and program CCTV, cameras, access control, and intrusion hardware.
  • Assist in testing installed equipment and provide basic programming.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing systems and/or equipment.
  • Responsible for updating the team lead on the status of all work performed daily.
  • Notify the team leads daily of any materials needed to complete duties.

Requirements:

  • Experience in CCTV, cameras, access control, alarm & intrusion, installation & programming.
  • Experience with brands such as Lenel, Avigilon, Software house, Hanwha.
  • Certifications like Hirsch Velocity, Lenel, CCure, Avigilon, and Milestone are desired.
  • Required to adhere to OSHA Safety Standards.
  • All employees will be required to pass all background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screenings.

Additional Job Description Information:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure in a new construction commercial environment such as Hospitals, Data Centers, Airports, and Commercial Retail facilities.
  • Performing maintenance on existing cabling systems, and on tenant improvement projects.
  • Testing newly installed or relocated cables according to company specifications.
  • Identifying and removing redundant cabling.
  • Installation of wireless access routers, patch panels, and internet technology devices.
  • Perform and learn how to properly deal with troubleshooting issues per company standards.
  • Installing cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and inner-duct.
  • Repairing cable termination, and cable runs.
  • Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations.
  • Completing paperwork such as timesheets, and checklists.
