Overview:
Spathe Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Systems Specialist - ASC to join our team in the Coronado, CA area. Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide support for the creation, testing, migration, documentation, maintenance, and daily operation of SOF Enterprise collaboration capabilities. Key tasks include:
Implementing, managing, and supporting Knowledge System Tools.
Engaging as the Subject Matter Expert on selected platforms, including Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365, and emerging collaboration tools.
Providing solutions by analyzing business needs and processes, recommending the best methodologies and tools.
Identifying, logging, and logically mapping organizational data flows and their respective information systems.
Working closely with users and stakeholders to analyze and determine detailed business requirements, goals, and risks.
Establishing and enforcing governance rules. Planning and implementing monthly SharePoint Power User group meetings and conveying information to the team. Compiling monthly reports on usage and progress of site collection.
Performing SharePoint Site Collection Administration, including managing permissions, restricting, and revoking access as required. Creating, leveraging, and managing content types, site columns, lookups, and templates for re-use in sites. Determining and creating a scalable structure for top-level, directorate, division, and branch sites. Ensuring uniform navigation throughout sites. Managing search scopes and creating project/document dashboards.
Maintaining the SharePoint environment, including constantly revisiting and reviewing content to ensure business relevance. Customizing and maintaining the landing page to encourage traffic and user adoption. Monitoring site usage and following up on dormancy on a regular basis.
Monitoring to ensure workflow and tasks are working correctly, performing ongoing research to determine SharePoint's current and future capabilities, and liaising with the 6/Communications regarding the migration of sites when necessary.
Providing end-user support and encouraging user adoption. Acting as Tier 1 support for end-users and site designers. Training end-users on basic functionality. Directing users to training material and available resources.
Collaborating with organizational trainers to audit knowledge systems training programs of instruction (POIs) to ensure efficacy of training with organizational needs.
Performing general data administration, including manually inputting data, creating, modifying, and deleting data (per Government policy parameters), researching and analyzing data, and scanning and uploading documents and data files.
Defining and testing access privileges, control structures, and resources, using periodic audits to identify any security violations and vulnerabilities. Implementing security improvements by assessing usage, evaluating trends, anticipating requirements. Recognizing quality or security problems by identifying abnormalities, reporting violations. Providing accuracy checks for stored data.
Understanding and having knowledge of a development environment or having experience with MS Visual Studio or VsCode. Having knowledge using SQL, database query concepts, JavaScript or client-scripting, CSS, and desirable to be able to at least read C#, or ASPX. Continually working towards meeting information assurance policies and regulations according to DoD, NDSA, DISA, NIST, and other IA-related military/federal requirements.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a BA or BS degree in any area of Technology or 1+ month of experience in the work identified above. A Secret clearance is required for this position. The job type is Full Time, and the work location is One location NAS Coronado, CA (Onsite). Up to 10% travel is expected during the year. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and 11 paid holidays per year. The salary range is $70K - $80K. The position ID is M3118KSA.
