Beverage Operations Manager

At Universal Stella Nova Resort, we are seeking a highly skilled Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of beverages and providing exceptional beverage service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain beverage staffing levels to ensure optimal performance
- Establish and ensure adherence to all departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Responsible for smooth, efficient, cost-effective operation of the beverage outlet, including labor management, supervision of all aspects of service, inventory control, and product selection
- Personally supervise all activities for production/delivery of quality product/service
- Interact with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of the dining experience
- Review and submit for approval all departmental storeroom requisitions, ensuring operational costs are kept within forecasted budgetary guidelines
- Establish appropriate par levels for all inventories to support forecasted activities without experiencing shortages or excessive inventory situations
- Ensure security, control, and proper use of operating supplies and equipment for all beverage outlets
- Attend all required hotel meetings to stay informed about in-house activities, special promotions, and upcoming events, maintaining communications with other departments within the hotel
- Communicate daily with outlet managers to obtain/provide current information regarding daily activities/functions and upcoming events
- Train personnel as needed to ensure superior levels of performance
- Follow New Hire Training and ongoing Star Service Competency programs in accordance with hotel policy
- Evaluate changes in guest needs, the hotel's guest mix, and industry competitive set to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes necessary to ensure guest and employee satisfaction, while maintaining market dominance and exceptional financial performance
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of all matters related to the proper administration of upscale beverage service operations
- Certifications: Food Service Manager as required by State of Florida regulations, TIPS or Equivalent beverage certification
- Ability to maintain effective operating and control processes designed to provide maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to guest satisfaction criteria
- Beverage knowledge including fine wines, liquors, beers, and sake
- Ability to motivate staff to provide exceptional service during slow and busy meal periods
- Self-motivated to take on projects to improve the restaurant and lounge
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
