Mammography Technologist II-Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist II-Imaging to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized breast procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Competently perform mammographic examinations, including routine and specialized procedures, to produce accurate and high-quality images.
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developing clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in mammography technology and techniques.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
- RHM-Radiology Mammography upon hire.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire.
- 2 years of recent relevant experience in mammography.
- General knowledge of diagnostic mammography principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods.
This is a per diem/casual position with variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. The pay range for this role is $66.01 to $82.50 per hour.
