About the Role

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist II to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized breast procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform mammographic examinations, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology to ensure accurate image interpretation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to maintain expertise and provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist and RHM-Radiology Mammography certifications upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification upon hire.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience in mammography or a related field.
