Job Summary

Alta Bates Imaging and Mammography Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team in a travel position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography procedures in a mobile setting, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mammography techniques and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in mammography, with a strong background in mobile or traveling positions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel frequently, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
