School Age Care Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a School Age Care Assistant Teacher.
This role provides a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children, helping them develop essential skills and values in a fun and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the planning, development, and implementation of classroom activities, providing a safe and engaging experience for our young members.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Site Coordinator in developing daily lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs
- Prepare materials and resources required for activities, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for children
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, arrival, and departure times, providing valuable insights for parents and staff
- Deliver weekly lesson plans to parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and experiences
- Provide regular updates to parents on individual activities, fostering open communication and trust
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being during program hours
- Collaborate with Site Supervisor to address parent-teacher conferences, addressing any concerns or questions
- Manage supplies, equipment, and materials, maintaining a high-quality and organized classroom environment
- Six months to one year of experience in youth development-related fields or equivalent combination of education and training
- Ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles
- Desire to work with school-age children, promoting their growth and development
