We are a leading provider of plasma-based therapies, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the development of life-changing medicines.

Job Summary

The Plasma Center Technician will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, while also ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our medical records. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, including answering phones and greeting donors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Screen donors for eligibility and take and record vital signs and finger stick results.
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate donor compensation and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes.
  • Ensure a clean and professional work environment, and attend team meetings to discuss center operations and goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.
