Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a key member of our center, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the collection of high-quality plasma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Provide a positive and welcoming experience for our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the plasma collection process.
  • Medical History Records: Accurately screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our center.
  • Supportive Teamwork: Collaborate with our team to ensure a clean and professional work environment, attend team meetings, and problem-solve together.
  • Phlebotomy: Learn and operate state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines, ensuring the safety of our donors and the quality of the plasma collected.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • Ability to Work Varied Shifts: Including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods, lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Regulated Environment: Previous experience working in a healthcare, laboratory, or regulated environment
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, with ability to provide a positive experience for our donors
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
