Job Summary
We are seeking an entry-level Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the collection of high-quality plasma that will become life-changing medicines.
Key Responsibilities
- Exceptional Customer Service: Provide a positive and welcoming experience for our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the plasma collection process.
- Medical History Records: Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results, and maintain accurate records.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the plasma collection process.
- Supportive Teamwork: Collaborate with your management team and colleagues to ensure a clean and professional work environment.
- Phlebotomy: Learn how to install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
- Ability to Walk and/or Stand for the Entire Work Shift: Required
- Ability to Work Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays: Required
- Ability to Lift Up to 5 lbs. and Occasional Lifting of Materials Up to 32 lbs. and Rarely 50 lbs.: Required
- Fine Motor Coordination, Depth Perception, and Ability to Hear Equipment from a Distance: Required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience Working in Food Service, Retail, Hospital, Lab, or a Regulated Environment: Preferred
- Strong Customer Service Skills: Preferred
- Desire to Work in a Fast-Paced Workplace: Preferred
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, with opportunities for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and more.
