Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the collection of high-quality plasma that will become life-changing medicines.
Key Responsibilities
- Exceptional Customer Service: Provide a positive and welcoming experience for our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the plasma collection process.
- Medical History Records: Accurately screen new and repeat donors, take and record vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the plasma collection process.
- Supportive Teamwork: Collaborate with your team to ensure a clean and professional work environment, attend team meetings, and problem-solve together.
- Phlebotomy: Learn and perform phlebotomy procedures, ensuring the safety of our donors and the quality of the plasma collected.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
- Ability to Work Varied Shifts: Including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical Demands: Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 32 pounds
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Regulated Environment: Previous experience in a healthcare or regulated environment
- Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
