Position Overview

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a dedicated individual to fulfill the role of Marketing Administrative Assistant within the Office of International Marketing. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document all international marketing activities, including contracts and expenditures.
  • Act as the primary liaison for office personnel and international trade offices.
  • Review, edit, and prepare various documents to ensure clarity and professionalism.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and manage logistics for marketing-related travel.
  • Procure office supplies and manage related financial documentation.
  • Maintain organized filing systems to support efficient operations.
  • Conduct entry-level marketing tasks, including basic market research and the development of presentations and marketing materials.

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A solid understanding of office administration and financial procedures, coupled with foundational knowledge of marketing principles.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and strong oral and written communication abilities, with a focus on drafting clear and concise documents.
  • The capability to manage diverse responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures independently.
  • Proficiency in utilizing computer software, particularly the MS Office Suite, with a willingness to learn new applications.
  • Experience in conducting market research and creating marketing presentations.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
