Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed professional to join our organization as the Student Financial Services Manager. The successful candidate will be tasked with supervising the daily functions of Student Accounts, overseeing billing and collection activities, and delivering outstanding customer support to students and their families. This role is vital in ensuring effective financial oversight of student accounts and facilitating communication among various parties involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the assessment, invoicing, and collection of student tuition and fees
  • Provide financial guidance to students and their families
  • Collaborate with campus departments regarding departmental charges
  • Prepare and submit federal 1098T Tuition Statements to the IRS
  • Manage end-of-day processing and banking activities
  • Assist in the preparation for annual audits

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess an Associate degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational and communication abilities are essential, along with familiarity with financial aid programs and student information systems. Experience in a higher education environment is preferred.

Compensation:

$60,000 - $63,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
