Traffic Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Control Flagger to join our team at AWP Safety. As a Traffic Control Flagger, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our clients and the general public.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Maintain Safe Work Zones: Utilize proper equipment to create and maintain safe work zones, minimizing disruptions to traffic flow.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues to ensure the safety of all individuals on site.
- Manage Traffic Flow: Effectively utilize stop/slow paddles to manage traffic flow and prevent accidents.
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide top-notch service and protection to our clients, exceeding their expectations.
- Participate in Continuous Training: Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to advance your skills and career.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical Demands: Be able to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours) and lift up to 50-60 pounds.
- Weather and Traffic Conditions: Work in various weather conditions and traffic settings, adapting to changing situations.
- Driving Experience: Possess experience driving and navigating through heavy traffic.
- Pre-Employment Screenings: Pass pre-employment screenings, including a drug test.
- Competitive Pay: Earn a competitive hourly rate ($17.00-$17.75/hour), with opportunities for pay increases based on experience.
- Rapid Advancement: Potential opportunities to progress to Senior Protector in just 4 months, with further growth potential to Lead Protector, Field Supervisor, or Manager roles.
