Job Overview

Davies Risk Services is seeking independent contractors to perform insurance property inspections for our carrier clients. As an Insurance Loss Control Specialist, you will work with policyholders to photograph and survey the overall condition of their properties, providing valuable information to our underwriters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments with property owners to conduct thorough property inspections
  • Photograph and evaluate the condition of properties, identifying potential areas of risk
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, underwriters, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person discussions
  • Complete detailed reports of your observations and upload photos to our field service platform
  • Follow carrier instructions and maintain quality standards
  • Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
  • Travel to perform field inspections in the local area
Requirements
  • Reliable vehicle, Microsoft computer, smartphone, and home internet
  • Observant and curious nature
  • Ability to take accurate photos and measure square footage
  • Strong time management and verbal/written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, including typing, uploading, and downloading documents, email, Microsoft Outlook, and Word
  • Background in construction, firefighting, safety, real estate, or previous military service is beneficial
  • Must reside in the advertised geographic area
