Job Summary

MXR Imaging, Inc. is seeking an experienced X-Ray Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our medical imaging solutions team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance, technical support, and repairs for medical imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide corrective maintenance and troubleshooting for medical imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound systems.
  • Perform scheduled planned maintenance (PM) events and installation of medical imaging equipment at customer facilities.
  • Install imaging equipment, including project management, site inspections, and interaction with customers and contractors to ensure site preparation meets OEM specifications.
  • Order parts and supplies required to maintain equipment and complete service tickets.
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide on-call service coverage after normal business hours on a rotation basis with fellow team members.
  • Complete administrative duties, including service ticket closure, time sheet completion, expense reporting, FDA reporting, radiation badge compliance, and tools and test equipment care and maintenance.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in the medical imaging field service industry with proven knowledge and skill in diagnosing and repairing medical imaging equipment.
  • Training and experience on various OEMs and equipment lines, including Carestream, Quantum, Canon, Del Medical, Konica Minolta, Fuji, GE, and Summit/Amrad.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong computer skills, including Windows and networking applications.
