Job Summary:
The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for the operation and maintenance of imaging equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires collaboration with various healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Conduct routine and emergency imaging procedures under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and perform necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Document all procedures and results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with technological advancements.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare staff.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience:
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid California Driver's License.
- X-ray experience is essential.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in operating Windows-based PCs is required.
- Willingness to work extended hours and participate in on-call rotations.
- Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as electronics or physics.
