Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation General Help to join our team at Northeast Foods. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in our bread manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Effectively clean all assigned areas inside and outside the plant, including equipment, machinery, and general grounds.
  • Food Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety standards and foster a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Utilize proper chemical usage, including spraying insecticides or other chemicals when necessary.
  • Work Assignments: Follow instructions regarding work assignments and daily tasks.
  • Attendance: Maintain a good attendance record.
  • Physical Demands: Work in various environments, including wet or dusty conditions, and lift heavy bags and boxes.
Requirements
  • Physical Abilities: Capable of moving to all areas of the plant, reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, and pulling as required in a production operation.
  • Communication Skills: Generate clear and distinct written and verbal communications.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
