Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at Conagra Brands. As a Sanitation Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our production staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sanitation tasks to clean and sanitize all production equipment and processing areas.
  • Work safely using processes that meet food and safety requirements and sanitation goals and standards.
  • Participate in plant-wide continuous improvement programs.
  • Follow all plant safety policies, along with all SQF requirements.
  • Help increase efficiency in the department.
  • Test new sanitation methods and chemicals as instructed by QA Manager.
  • Assist Sanitation lead in communicating directives.
  • Oversee any maintenance requests and transfers back to production.
  • Perform Pre-Operational sanitation requirements.
  • Understand and fill out the Pre-Shift Checklist.
  • Help with the production line full cleans.
  • Daily cleaning of break room/bathroom/GMP room/offices/conference room.
  • Disassemble, clean and assemble production equipment.
  • Run, fill, clean and perform minor maintenance on the walk-behind floor scrubber.
  • Assess possible trainings and self-development needs and options.
  • Controls work flow in washroom.

You must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds and repetitive use of arms, hands, back and legs to unload and load product.
