Job Title: Sanitation, Warehouse Night Shift

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation, Warehouse Night Shift individual to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our associates.

Job Summary:

The Sanitation, Warehouse Night Shift is responsible for performing general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation-related job tasks in our warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure the safety of all associates.
  • Performs cleaning duties as assigned, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
  • Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
  • Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
  • May require operation of a pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
  • Completes all assignments and tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment
  • Pallet jack experience
