Sanitation Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at Conagra Brands. As a Sanitation Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the cleanliness of our plant machinery and ensure standards are maintained
  • Use a high-pressure, high-temperature water hose and cleaning chemicals to facilitate the sanitation process
  • Help prepare production equipment for cleaning following Lockout Tagout procedures
  • Provide both visual and physical swab checks periodically
  • Support overnight Smokehouse Operators by moving trucks, loading/unloading ovens, taking meat temperatures, etc.
  • Use a computer to support continuous improvement projects
  • Participate in a Safety Team

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of plant safety and waste disposal methods
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
