Position Overview:

Role Summary:
This position necessitates a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the design, analysis, and testing of third-party applications within both production and development settings. The successful candidate will assess and define the requirements for the implementation and support of intricate computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with various IT divisions on specific projects, evaluating outcomes with users to ensure successful installations of software and systems.
2. Develop application systems and programs in accordance with established specifications.
3. Engage with users to identify issues and ascertain needs, reaching consensus on functional specifications that yield the desired outcomes.
4. Execute additional related tasks as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration within a large-scale IT environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in database management principles and SQL Management Studio.
- Advanced understanding of relational databases and systems integration.
- Ability to work independently with clients, gather requirements, and provide analytical reports to various management levels and departments.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams regarding maintenance and performance issues; prioritize bug fixes; oversee application and server updates; test bug fixes.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and committed to delivering exceptional customer support.
- Capable of producing both technical and user-level documentation.

Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with SQL, SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, Crystal Reports, Stored Procedures, and Triggers.
- Two years of experience in developing, implementing, and supporting software applications while providing user-end support.
- Comprehensive understanding of the software lifecycle.
- Experience in a large environment managing life-critical systems.
- Experience in providing guidance and training to users of varying expertise levels to enhance their knowledge and capabilities in utilizing supported systems.
- Knowledge of project life cycle and project management principles.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, analyze, develop, program, modify, test, debug, and implement complex computer systems; define and develop requirements for innovative, logical, and effective solutions; consult with management to assess the feasibility of recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, identifying and defining processes.
- Analyze system problems and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical direction in complex information modeling concepts, data access, information system interfaces, and reporting tools.
- Maintain and administer databases and associated tables, including creating scripts, scheduling database activities, and implementing data recovery plans.
- Ensure security access to computer system information and review system/database tools for functionality, status, and applicability.
- Manage complex projects, including conducting research, performing analysis, preparing bids, selecting vendors, managing external consultants, and determining requirements.
- Develop and document data standards; prepare documentation for new systems and modifications in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze various system reports, making recommendations for system upgrades.
- Evaluate hardware and software for potential improvements and modifications; plan and develop third-party systems deployment; train users.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as required.

Availability Requirements:
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no overtime expected. Availability for emergency situations may be required after hours, on weekends, and during holidays.
