Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Analytics, or a related discipline.

Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration within a large-scale Information Technology environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to effectively perform the essential duties of the position.

Familiarity with database management principles.

Proficiency in SQL Management Studio.

Advanced comprehension of relational databases and systems integration.

Ability to independently collaborate with clients, gather requirements, and deliver analytical reports to various management levels and organizational departments.

Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams regarding maintenance and performance issues; prioritize bug fixes; oversee application and server updates; test bug fixes.

Attention to detail is crucial, along with being highly organized and motivated to provide exceptional customer support.

Must be capable of producing both technical and user-level documentation.



Preferred Experience:

Experience with SQL, SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, Crystal Reports, Stored Procedures, and Triggers.

Two years of experience in developing, implementing, and supporting software applications while providing user-end support.

Strong understanding of the software lifecycle.

Experience in a large environment where management of life-critical systems is essential.

Preferred experience in providing guidance and training to users at various levels of expertise to enhance their knowledge and capabilities in utilizing supported systems.

Familiarity with project life cycle and project management principles.



Responsibilities:


Plans, analyzes, develops, programs, modifies, tests, debugs, and implements complex computer systems; defines and develops requirements for innovative, logical, and effective solutions; consults with management to assess the feasibility of recommendations.

Troubleshoots and resolves issues and/or identifies and defines processes. Analyzes system challenges and takes corrective measures.

Provides technical guidance in complex information modeling concepts, data access, information system interfaces, and reporting tools.

Maintains and administers databases and associated tables, including creating scripts, scheduling database activities, and reloading data, which includes data recovery plans.

Ensures security access to computer system information and reviews system/database tools for functionality, status, and applicability.

Manages intricate projects, including conducting related research, performing analysis, preparing bids, selecting vendors, managing external consultants, and determining requirements.

Develops and documents data standards; prepares documentation for new systems and system modifications in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Prepares and analyzes a variety of system reports and makes recommendations regarding system upgrades.

Evaluates hardware and/or software for enhancements and potential modifications; plans and develops third-party systems deployment; trains users.

Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
