Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Coordinator to join our Human Resource team at our Jacksonville, Florida location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing our payroll processes for our internal organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly multi-state payroll for 700+ employees.
  • Process garnishments in accordance with federal, state, and hourly wage laws.
  • Support the development of systems, processes, and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain knowledge management tools such as wikis and shared drives.
  • Create management reports for payroll, finance, and management teams.
  • Communicate effectively with Finance, local HR, and Plant administration to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing.
  • Act as the point of contact for all payroll-related questions for both employees and HR.
  • Manage vendors and systems for payroll, time, and attendance.
  • Process new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations accurately and timely.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and support internal and external audits.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' payroll experience.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Service-minded and high integrity.
  • Solid analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Pro-active and ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications, with strong proficiency in Excel.
