We are in search of a Community Outreach Coordinator to enhance our outreach efforts in South Dade County.

Job Responsibilities

The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with local social service organizations to promote awareness of available services and identify potential clients for Agape Network.

This role involves coordinating client services in accordance with existing agreements and maintaining effective communication with families, educational institutions, judicial systems, and other relevant parties.

The Coordinator will collaborate with the Outreach Supervisor, Programs Director, and Treatment Team members as needed, and will support the implementation of Telehealth services.

Key Duties Include:
  • Acting as a liaison among courts, schools, families, and external agencies.
  • Building strong partnerships with potential referral sources through presentations, meetings, and ongoing client recruitment efforts.
  • Planning and coordinating outreach activities with educational institutions and community organizations.
  • Managing client contact information and ensuring strong follow-up to maintain active relationships.
  • Assisting clients and families in accessing recommended services.
  • Sharing relevant information with clinical and admissions departments as necessary.
  • Completing required documentation and reports.
  • Discussing innovative outreach strategies with management.
  • Participating in community events, which may occur during evenings and weekends.
  • Providing on-call services as needed.
  • Attending staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding client information.
  • Assisting with the rollout of Telehealth services.
  • Submitting timesheets weekly in accordance with billing requirements.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Outreach Supervisor or Programs Director.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or a bachelor's degree in a field related to social services or education.
  • Willingness to travel, with time spent in the office.
  • A combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the responsibilities outlined.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound judgment in sensitive situations while maintaining confidentiality.
