Position Overview

Role Summary: Responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels across all production teams by effectively coordinating orders and deliveries with suppliers.

Key Objectives: To proficiently oversee purchasing and inventory processes, reducing the risk of backorders and the need for expedited shipping.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Creating purchase orders for all suppliers and product lines, both domestic and international.
  2. Collaborating and communicating with assembly team leaders.
  3. Forecasting, planning, and managing accurate inventory levels, particularly for critical components.
  4. Maintaining weekly inventory reports for each department.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Overseeing inventory management.
  • Planning and purchasing all necessary product components.
  • Engaging with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and status updates.
  • Coordinating logistics with freight forwarders.
  • Working with accounts payable regarding supplier payments.
  • Assisting the order department with stock requirements for customer fulfillment.
  • Collaborating with the quality assurance department.
  • Providing support to senior management as needed.
  • Ordering items to facilitate internal warehouse operations.

Required Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, ERP systems (Visual).
