Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Event Marketing Operations Manager to join our team at Educational Testing Service (ETS). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering events for the ETS corporate brand and sub-brands, as well as contributing to setting standards for event management best practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event and trade show management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events from conception to completion. They will be able to demonstrate excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

The Senior Event Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for planning and facilitating end-to-end logistics for all events, including contract negotiation, sponsorship fulfillment, attendee lists, venue preparation, catering, entertainment, transportation, and equipment. They will also oversee event management software, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure cohesive and impactful event experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Manage event logistics, including contract negotiation, sponsorship fulfillment, and attendee lists
  • Oversee event management software and ensure seamless execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and impactful event experiences
  • Develop and maintain relationships with conference organizations and vendors
  • Manage promotional items inventory and ensure timely shipment to conferences
  • Ensure consistent, high-level service throughout all phases of event planning and execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in event and trade show management, preferably in the B2B sector
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events from conception to completion
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines
