The Senior Manager, Market Insights and Analytics, will be responsible for providing actionable data-driven recommendations to guide critical business decisions. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and develop strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish strong relationships with key cross-functional team members to understand business challenges and develop strategic insights.
- Translate business needs into actionable analytic-focused efforts to provide strategic and synthesized insights.
- Lead qualitative and quantitative market research projects to support brand strategy, including vendor selection and management, design, execution, and presentation of results.
- Use expert knowledge of secondary pharmaceutical databases to answer analytical questions from cross-functional teams.
- Lead competitive intelligence activities for products and therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with other members and the Director of Market Insights and Analytics in brainstorming optimal solutions to research questions.
- Maintain full compliance with internal and external guidelines.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree or MBA a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, majority in the US.
- Minimum 5 years in marketing research and/or analytics or related experience involving framing of strategic questions, generating insights, synthesizing implications, driving for practical/actionable solutions, and measuring impact.
- Solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary market research methods.
- Strong experience with pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA, Symphony, Claims, and other syndicated resources; strong understanding of Patient/Claims data (APLD) preferred.
- Experience in collecting strategic Competitive Intelligence insights.
- Demonstrated partnering and influencing skills, stakeholder management, and project management.
- Experience in Brand Marketing and/or other Business areas preferred (e.g., Managed Markets, Sales, BD, Sales Ops).
- Experience launching products in the US (preferred).
- Cross-functional experience preferred (e.g., managed markets, pricing, medical, analytics, sales, marketing).
- Experience in one or more of the following therapeutic areas preferred: Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and/or Oncology.
