Job Summary

The Guest Room Care Specialist is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Load housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Strip all beds in checked-out rooms and drop all dirty linens to the laundry before any cleaning is done.
  • Obtain the executive housekeeper's signature on the work assignment sheet.
  • Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards.
  • Inspect rooms for safety hazards and equipment operating conditions.
  • Report lost and found articles and maintenance problems to a supervisor.
  • Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and respond to special guest requests.
  • Record room status on work assignment sheets.
Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping experience required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
