About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications using all routes as ordered
  • Perform and document care for all admissions and recovery room patients
  • Transport patients to and from the Cath Lab
  • Actively participate in continuing education on the unit
  • Effectively communicate verbal and written information, instruction or education to the patient, family members and other members of the health care team as appropriate
  • Responsible for all phases of digital/filmless CD system
  • Serve as a liaison for the Cath Lab to promote physician, interdepartmental and intra-departmental relationships
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
  • Current BLS & ACLS certification
  • At least one year ICU/CCU or comparable ER, cath lab or recovery experience
