We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our cardiovascular services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS & ACLS certification
- At least one year ICU/CCU or comparable ER, cath lab or recovery experience
