We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a member of our critical care team, you will provide high-quality patient care to post-cardiac surgery, valve repair, and telemetry patients.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications utilizing the 5 rights to medication administration
- Perform and document care for all admissions and patients
- Initiate and document patient teaching and discharge planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 60 days of employment start date
