Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer (TEMPEST)-Journeyman to contribute to our Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation initiatives. This role requires on-site support and offers a competitive salary range based on experience.

Location:
Our operations are based in Patuxent River, Maryland, recognized as a prime location for high-tech professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
A typical day in this role may involve:

  • Designing, testing, and implementing TEMPEST solutions.
  • Applying a comprehensive understanding of TEMPEST standards to secure electronic systems against emanations.
  • Evaluating and analyzing electronic systems to ensure compliance with established TEMPEST specifications.
  • Conducting TEMPEST testing and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Preparing detailed documentation, including test plans and compliance reports.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate TEMPEST requirements into product designs.
  • Staying updated on emerging TEMPEST technologies and contributing to innovative solutions.
  • Assisting in obtaining necessary TEMPEST certifications for products and systems.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in TEMPEST engineering and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
  • Knowledge of TEMPEST or applicable EMI standards.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with a Secret Clearance required to start.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in TEMPEST testing equipment and software tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment:
The role involves working in an office setting, with responsibilities that may require physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. Occasional travel may be necessary.
