The position:
AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and talented Electrical Engineer (EMI)-Junior to support Electromagnetic Environmental Effects. This position is classified as AMEWAS labor category Electrical Engineer. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.

A typical day as an Electrical Engineer (EMI)-Junior may include:
- Prepares and conducts EMI/EMC tests using MIL-STD-461 standards
- Preforms installs of the System Under Test (SUT) in the shielded enclosure in accordance with the test plan and current test standards
- Works with customer to verify that the SUT is operational and define failure criteria
- Verifies that the detection system test equipment is in calibration and is operating correctly
- Performs setup and calibration measurements per the applicable standard
- Executes tests and points out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or observational errors
- Develops test documentation (plans/procedures/reports) and presents test results to internal and external customers
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the department
- Interacts appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Performs other duties as necessary
