Job Summary:
Premise Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Boston, MA. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks, complete client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provide assistance at the front desk
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination
- Clean and sterilize instruments
- Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials
- Operate electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
- Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
- Schedules appointments and makes follow-up phone calls to patients
- Keys data into computer to maintain clinic and patient records
Requirements:
- National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on externship completed and passed
- CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) Certification
- State Lab Certificate (NV only)
