About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at One Medical. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support, including venipuncture, dispensary responsibilities, and other clinical support services.
  • Act as an ambassador for patients in the office, providing a positive and empathetic experience.
  • Remove barriers to care and ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Assist with front-of-house duties, including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, and participating in problem-solving.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, as well as daily office upkeep.
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • A proven ability to display confidence and instill trust during the collection process.
  • A proven track record of persisting through change and learning quickly and effectively.
