Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Conduct analysis of dried blood spots or body fluid to determine presence of normal and abnormal components.
- Review test results, maintain accurate records, and enter findings into the laboratory information systems.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on instruments and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with established procedures.
- Verify proper instrument function, checking and calibrating lab instruments and documenting data.
- Abide by laboratory safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in a life or physical science, such as chemistry, biology, or medical technology.
- 0-1 year clinical laboratory experience, with a strong foundation in laboratory procedures and techniques.
