Job Summary:
Vaco is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business development efforts. As a Director, ERP Business Development, you will be responsible for growing our ERP practice by establishing new business relationships and maintaining existing ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the ERP space, leveraging your network and relationships to develop leads and secure new business.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement customized sales strategies to meet and exceed annual sales goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with practice leaders, recruiting, sales, and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
- Client Needs: Understand client needs and provide solutions and support, answering potential client questions and following up on requests.
- Presentation and Communication: Create informative presentations and deliver information to potential clients at client meetings, industry events, and internal training opportunities.
- CRM Management: Maintain a list/database of prospective clients and use our existing CRM solution to track sales administration and opportunities.
- Business Planning: Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting, maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.
Requirements:
- Experience: Sales experience within the healthcare IT ERP industry is required.
- Background and Knowledge: Background and knowledge of healthcare advisory services and/or staffing regarding Meaningful Use, EMR, EHR, ERP, Business Intelligence, and Implementation is highly preferred.
- Education: High school degree or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.
- Location: Remote
- Travel Requirements: Travel when approved for onsite visits.

- Frequent: Sitting, walking, eye/hand/foot coordination and repetitive motion.
- Occasional: Standing and bending.
- Infrequent: Lifting up to 10 pounds.
