Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative 2 to join our team at Inova. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely information to patients regarding their medical appointments, insurance coverage, and billing.
  • Utilize EPIC scheduling process to identify the best provider for patients' appointment needs.
  • Exceed contact center metric goals, including Availability Rate, Avoidance Rate, First Call Resolution, Patient Survey Responses, and Quality Assurance Scores.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, physicians, and patient representatives to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Support primary department and provide additional support coverage to two additional departments as needed.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare or a relevant field, or a Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
