This position is dedicated to overseeing various Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Solar initiatives throughout Florida. The successful candidate will manage the complete life cycle of Solar projects for a recognized organization that has been in operation for nearly two decades, having successfully delivered projects that generate over 250 Mw of renewable energy.

The role will necessitate travel across Florida to engage with multiple project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Coordination and Documentation: Create and refine design documents in accordance with sales engineering and contractual specifications, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints, site conditions, and project viability through collaboration with both internal and external engineering teams.
  • Project Planning and Management: Organize, schedule, and supervise the activities of construction managers and subcontractors to achieve project objectives, while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to facilitate construction operations.
  • Project Oversight and Financial Management: Track and manage construction progress to ensure adherence to timelines and budget, oversee contracts and financial elements, and represent the organization in meetings and negotiations to safeguard its interests.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company, client, and project policies, maintain comprehensive project documentation, and assist in implementing safety programs while reviewing contracts and engineering drawings for project conformity.
  • Project Communication and Risk Management: Conduct weekly project meetings, monitor action items, keep construction documents current, manage daily reporting and labor budgets, and execute risk assessment and mitigation strategies throughout the project duration.

The ideal candidate will possess approximately 1-4+ years of Project Management experience and have familiarity with Solar and/or Renewable projects.
