Position Summary:

The Senior Support Specialist plays a crucial role in providing daily consulting and technical support to our clients. This position requires a proactive individual who takes pride in positively impacting our customers' operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining high productivity levels and the ability to swiftly adapt to various tasks. The successful candidate will work across diverse IT environments, demonstrating flexibility to meet client needs. Responsibilities include the maintenance, monitoring, deployment, documentation, and support of multiple IT infrastructures, which may involve various workstations and servers. The role will address issues related to hardware, software, and networking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary escalation point for all technology support inquiries within the organization.
  • Engage in complex problem-solving and provide assistance across a range of software applications and hardware systems.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, networks, and related equipment.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and support for desktops, applications, and network connections.
  • Implement routine backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair both physical and virtual servers and associated equipment.
  • Execute comprehensive upgrades in line with existing network architecture.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Server, Exchange, Hyper-V, and Office 365 migrations.
  • Proficient in Windows Desktop Operating Systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of network concepts, particularly TCP/IP.
  • In-depth knowledge of DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and Group Policies.
  • Familiarity with Backup Solutions and Connectwise is advantageous.
  • Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications are preferred.
  • Growing expertise in VMware environments is a plus.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki and ASA is highly desirable.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
