Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Specialist provides expert nursing care to patients on the 3 North SCH unit. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention

Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited Registered Professional Nursing Program

Current New York State Registration as a professional registered nurse

Current BLS validation

Previous RN experience preferred
