Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Infusion Therapy will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education in the infusion therapy setting. This role requires a strong understanding of professional nursing principles and practices related to infusion therapy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of relevant experience and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
Provide infusion therapy services to patients in their homes
Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
Educate patients and families on infusion therapy techniques and safety precautions
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, college or university
Licensure and current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York required
BSN preferred
BLS certification preferred
PICC Certification preferred
CRNI preferred
Working Conditions
The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Infusion Therapy may be exposed to unsanitary conditions in some home settings and may be required to work in high-crime areas. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license and have a car available for work use.
