**Job Summary**

The University of Kansas Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Ambulatory Operations and Informatics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Ambulatory Services department, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of our ambulatory EMR system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Ambulatory Optimization Team to ensure effective use of technology in ambulatory care services
  • Partner with Ambulatory Operational leadership, HITS team, Revenue Cycle, and Clinical Informatics to plan and coordinate patient-centric technology initiatives
  • Participate in ambulatory implementations and support efforts to improve workflow standards and end-user adoption
  • Work with Department Director and HITS to align future development and enhancements with the Ambulatory Services strategic vision
  • Assist in intake, prioritization, and delivery of technology requests to improve workflow standards and end-user adoption

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of direct ambulatory clinical care experience in a relevant clinical discipline
  • 2+ years of people or project management supervision
  • 1+ year of demonstrated success in leading strategic Clinical Information Systems implementation and optimization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Epic certification in one Epic Ambulatory application within 1 year
