Job Overview

As an Environmental Scientist within our Due Diligence division, you will engage in national travel, potentially up to 100%, to perform Phase 1 and Property Condition Assessments for our esteemed clients. Regular travel to various project sites throughout the United States is an essential part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) Phase 1 in accordance with ASTM standards.
  • Conduct Property Condition Assessments (PCA) adhering to ASTM guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed reports for clients, including the development of precise data summaries and visual representations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to coordinate work activities across multiple project functions to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support senior management in achieving project milestones, budgetary constraints, deadlines, and other performance metrics.
  • Assist in the selection and management of project personnel and subcontractors.
  • Develop and implement Health and Safety Plans/Job Safety Analyses for various sites.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an environmental scientist capacity, specifically in conducting ASTM Phase I assessments and Property Condition Assessments.
  • Familiarity with ASTM assessment standards is necessary.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Proficient technical report writing abilities are essential.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while adhering to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required; knowledge of CAD and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is advantageous.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for fieldwork; a valid driver's license is mandatory.
