Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site assessments and oversee Superfund & Brownfield projects in NYC
  • Perform field work and sampling, including ground water, soil, and Community Air Monitoring (CAMP)
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met during construction oversight
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, geology, or environmental engineering
  • 3-10 years of experience in construction oversight, sampling, and overseeing Brownfield/Superfund/NYC Projects
  • Strong field & sampling skills
  • OSHA 40 HAZWOPER, OSHA 30, or OSHA 10 certification
Work Environment
  • This is a fully on-site position in New York/Brooklyn, New York
  • 95% on site in Brooklyn, nearly all field work
  • A long-term project that will go on for several years
