About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our scheduling department, you will be responsible for coordinating appointments, managing patient information, and providing excellent customer service to our patients and their families.

Job Responsibilities
  • Answer multi-line phone system and schedule appointments on Cerner computer system
  • Route patient calls to appropriate personnel utilizing voicemail, PowerChart Office in Cerner, and paging software - Outlook Paging
  • Verify patient insurance and demographic information, reschedule patients for return visits
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year work experience in medical front office setting; one year experience with multi-phone system preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
