About the Role

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Scheduler Coordinator to join our team at Healthcare Partners Investments. As a key member of our front desk, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient care and streamlining our scheduling process.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, setting the tone for a pleasant experience.
  • Efficiently check patients in and out, collecting necessary information and verifying details to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage charge entry and collection of patient co-pays and balances with precision and attention to detail.
  • Schedule new and return appointments with ease, utilizing your excellent communication skills to coordinate logistics.
  • Enter patient demographics accurately and maintain medical records with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Prepare for daily clinic activities and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, such as Epic, is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans is essential.
  • You must be able to multitask with ease, working at a fast pace while handling frequent interruptions.
  • Excellent organizational, phone, and computer skills are required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is the minimum educational requirement.
