Job Overview

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and evaluating new sources of engineered products and services for Saudi Aramco (SAO) and Aramco Services Company (ASC) and subsidiaries in North America.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sources of engineered materials and services, ensuring compliance with SAO standards and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Relations to conduct due diligence and compliance checks on potential suppliers.
  • Prepare sourcing packages, including technical specifications, financial reports, and assessments of prospective suppliers.
  • Liaise with ASC technical and procurement teams, and prospective suppliers to gather additional data or clarifications.
  • Conduct initial sourcing package assessments to ensure compliance with SAO standards, market intelligence, and sourcing requirements.
  • Evaluate product/service performance data and indices, and align products to sourcing lists and ad-hoc requests.
  • Coordinate with Engineering to ensure new manufacturer specifications meet company standards.
  • Review and coordinate evaluation schedules with RSA and plant managers to ensure suppliers meet ISO, API, IEE, ANSI, ASTM certification standards.
  • Support supplier localization efforts in Saudi Arabia by promoting local programs and collaborating with ASC teams.
  • Issue and track workflows in SAP to initiate technical and quality assessments for suppliers.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or Materials Management, or similar field.
  • At least one certification in Supply Management, Purchasing, or Supply Chain, such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or CPIM.
  • Working knowledge of economics, technology, and accounting.
  • Proficient with business software applications and statistical analytical tools.
  • Typically, at least four years of directly related work experience in sourcing, with demonstrated manufacturer quality experience and/or technical buying experience.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills in English.
